Dedicated to providing a barbershop experience tailored to your needs Harmony University is comprised of four colleges: Harmony College, Directors College, Quartet College and Weekend Session. With a world-class faculty, and a curriculum that offers even more possibilities than ever before, this will be a week you’ll never forget. Oh yes, we have the ice cream, too!

Harmony College continues its tradition of excellence.
The great classes with a fantastic faculty are back. New faces, new classes, this year’s
Harmony College offers more than ever before. For the first time, we have a Harmony College
Honors Chorus. The auditioned group will be featured on the Saturday Night Show.

Quartet College offers the finest in coaching and classes.
Along with Society quartets, female and mixed quartets will have the opportunity to be a part of the Quartet College coaching “pod” program. Each “pod” consists of a Music, Performance,
Singing and Presentation coach. In addition, you can select from two sessions of classes and
the Quartet General Sessions are specifically designed for your quartet so you will have a great week of singing, learning and fun.

Directors College raises the bar with new classes and the Director Chorus.
Participate in the acclaimed “On To The Rehearsal” course, Directors’ Seminar, Effective Choral
Warm-ups and new class electives highlight some of the new experiences a director can
expect. Real first-hand experiences for chorus directors! You will be placed in the appropriate
Theory, Sound Management and Directing Techniques classes. We are continuing with the
Directors Chorus, under the direction of Kirk Young. This outstanding ensemble will perform
on the Saturday Night Show.

Weekend Session brings new opportunities for more barbershoppers.
The Weekend Session is designed for those who cannot attend the entire week. This
“condensed” version of Harmony University offers the same world-class instruction in all areas
of study as the full week does…including quartet and chorus coaching! (Special rate for CSD
members.)
