About Us

Aurora Chorealis is an exciting new chorus for young singers, part of the Land O’ Lakes District. We cover regions including Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin in the USA, as well as Saskatchewan and Winnipeg in Canada.

Our Mission

Aurora Chorealis aims to bring together talented young singers, ages 18-25, to create beautiful music, foster camaraderie, and provide opportunities for growth and performance at prestigious events. We are dedicated to encouraging and promoting barbershop singing within our district, providing a safe and inclusive space for young singers to thrive.

  Who Can Join?

We are seeking singers aged 18-25 who are passionate about music and looking to be part of a dynamic and supportive chorus.

Commitment

• Attend initial rehearsals at the Land O’ Lakes District Convention, October 9-11, 2024, in Bloomington, Minnesota.
• Complete two virtual vocal check-ins.
• Participate in two virtual rehearsals.

Performance Goals

We aim to participate in the varsity festival at the 2025 International Convention in Denver, Colorado, from June 29-July 6, 2025.

Financial Aid

We are exploring possibilities for financial aid to support our members. Please stay tuned for updates or reach out to us for more information.
