The Land O’ Lakes District strives to develop a vibrant singing community through a close harmony style of a cappella known as Barbershop. There is a long-standing tradition of barbershop that dates as far back as in the 1800’s. Barbershop often has been stereotyped as “old” and “dated” music, however, this style of music is undergoing a huge resurgence movement globally where composers, arrangers, choral programs and recording artists around the world are joined together in breathing new life into the style.  

The Land O’ Lakes District, in partnership with the Barbershop Harmony Society strives to provide choral directors, singing instructors and youth under the age of 25 with an enriching experience of “Everyone in Harmony”.
